'Drøymde mik ein draum i nótt' or 'I dreamed a dream' is an Old Norse song found in a medieval manuscript written around the year 1300. The manuscript, Codex Runicus, is one of the oldest preserved manuscripts written only in runes. It is written in Old East Norse and details Danish history and laws.
Fun fact! The first line of the song is sung in episode 6 of Vikings (2013).
